Projects
Here is the latest and upcoming projects I am working on. In conjunction with my expected majors in EECS (Course 6) and Management (Course 15) at MIT, I am always looking to embark on various challenges that implements computer science and/or finance applications.
Wilky Designs
Wilky Designs is my web design business, launched in April of 2009. I design, build, and maintain websites using the latest XHTML and CSS specifications. We help various companies, organizations and nonprofits throughout the country make an online presence. To see our portfolio, click here.
Android Application
Using Eclipse and Android SDK to develop a mobile application for data encryption. Programming language used: JAVA. Current in development - stay tuned.
Pollena
Our Toshiba/NSTA ExploraVision project was named one of 6 regional winners in North America, chosen from over 1240 entries. We proposed
a novel drug delivery device that aims to detect the early presence of malignant cells and eliminate them harmlessly and effectively.
Bay Area Internships
To be launched in late-2011, Bay Area Internships helps high school students in Silicon Valley and San Francisco find valuable internships and work opportunities with various local companies and organizations.
Clark Scholars
Paid independent research in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas Tech University with Professor H. Gill. One of 12
scholars chosen out of 180 applicants for the Clark Scholars Program. Paper title: Characterization of drug encapsulation in
Lycopodium clavatum. Recipient of the 2011 Intel Science Talent Search Semifinalist award.
Radio Documentary
Intern at the University of Illinois WILL Radio Station. On the lead production team to write, develop and produce a one-hour documentary on the open and hidden
discrimination present in intercollegiate athletics. Documentary title: Competing Against Discrimination: Achieving Equality in Athletics at the University of Illinois
COSMOS
Final project on lognormal modeling for the 2009 California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science (COSMOS) at the University of California, Davis. It focuses on the study of how different mathematical graphs can be used to describe the popularity, novelty, attention, and position of a user-generated website.
